Established in early 2024 by Georgia Riggs and Jordan Gee, All Tomorrow’s Prairies was born as a natural extension of their life-long obsessions with native plants, gardening and ecology. The plants made them do it.
The ATP backyard nursery is home to over 100 species of native Oklahoma plants. Whether it be a shade, full sun, bone-dry, or aquatic situation, ATP grows the plants that will work in your space and our climate. They don’t use pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. Plants don’t exist in a vacuum, so ATP encourages their healthy, natural interaction with the world around them. Many of these plants are grown from locally collected wild seeds. It is a great labor of love.
ATP’s garden design work is informed by many home gardening experiments as well as countless hours spent observing local, wild plant communities in the field. This not only helps determine the right plants for the right place, but it helps in the understanding of how plant relationships evolve over time, making gardens that are resilient, dynamic and biodiverse. ATP aims to create gardens that combine ecology and aesthetic beauty- gardens that inspire the deep sense of wonder we feel when we go out into our favorite wild spaces.
