Large, adaptable oak to common to forests in eastern Oklahoma. Great shade tree once mature.
Height: 50 - 90 ft
Sun: full sun to part shade
Soil moisture: Moist to dry
Ecology: Oaks are keystone species as they are hosts to a large number of different species, making them highly valuable to wildlife and native ecosystems.
Other notes: Bare root trees are sold after first year of growth during the winter dormancy period (Nov-March).
